YouTube Channel news: As stated in December, I’ve started the process to rebrand and create YouTube channels. The existing Channel got renamed to Mike’s Holodeck on 21st November. This was to bring in to line to reflect the focus of the channel. An new “Mike Sharpe, Writer” channel is due to come online some time in January.
On 16 December, Mass Effect 2 Episode went live on YouTube, and I’ve chosen to make a longer lead time. As expected it was a messy time over Christmas. I am hoping to keep at least few weeks buffer going. But this is going to be tricky with the January’s Mike Sharpe Writer extra videos going on.
As for why the Mike Sharpe Writer Channel hasn’t appeared. Let’s just say I want take advantage od a few tricks that MatPat suggested for a new Channel, and a few pieces of kit I’m expected to return soon.
Moving on to the books: Solen Masters Book 1: Acacia’s Silence had longer delay: No news on Chapter 19, but this is a big one I need get right, as is where Acacia and Niu first meet. But I’m now hoping to get it out for Paid Early Access this week end.
With Wattpad starting late, the buffer ended in early December, with Chapter 18 going live on 2nd December. Without a Chapter 19, Wattpad is now on the same update schedule has most other Novel sites that Acacia’s Silence is on.
Another site was trialled to host Acacia Silence, but due to apparently their social media account and website are down, they’re a bust.
As for Book Sales? Smashwords got a Site wide on the 8th December, and 2001: A Big Nutter Oddity be had a 50% off.
