The following post is snippet of a longer post on Paid Patreon and Ko-fi users, released on 3rd February 2025.
Done in January:
YouTube Channel news: Mass Effect 1: We’re spent all of January on Noveria, but we’ll be done soon.. I actually had to stop the last Video pretty much then due to what is behind the next door.
Star Trek Online would have more output, but that would’ve been down to Cryptic and DECA games to have their stuff in line. Hopefully the update for the 11th February will be good, so we’ll see the updates on completed Episode 13th.
January usually sees my Annual Videos. The Book Review – 2024 came out slightly later than I’d initially hoped. This is partly as I started later than I’d intended. This is also why my Top 10 Games of 2024 is also Delayed.. But given how it’s been February or March for a few years now, I’m not going to complain if it comes out in the first week of February.
Last time I said that my online connection during the second half of December, it actually got worse in January. After some work it was clear where the issue is. So I’m back.
Solen Masters Book 1: Acacia’s Silence hit a hiatus on the paid early access. No news on Chapter 13 yet.
Not much else was done with in book news, But then I’m not planning to have sales every month. But if SmashWords has a “large” sale, chances are you’ll find 2001: A Big Nutter Oddity will be on sale.
Like few months, I’ve been posting almost daily to Mastodon, I’ve been talking about some of the upcoming books. I also comment under the #WordWeavers and #WritersCoffeeClub hash tags. Mastodon similar to Twitter where short message can be posted. Most of my art in high quality is also posted here. As for BlueSky, it’s early days, and I’ve got some research to do before I do some stuff.
With Twitter.. I’ve decided to “Park” the MikeSharpeWritr account until I really have a plan. It was barely getting views. I used to have a “bot” that posted stuff on my behalf, but that’s busted, and I don’t think it’s worth the money to get it working again. (The “Artbot” still works, but I need to effectively set things manually to post Blog and YouTube updates.)
There was some work in the background for intended Mobile users, but due a unforeseen bug, it broke a few things.
